Runs galore on Day Two of COP T20 Cup at Eve Leary
Over 600 runs were scored on Thursday when action continued in the annual Commissioner of Police T20 Cup with a double-header at the Police Sports Club Ground, Eve Leary.
In the day’s opening encounter, Regional Division Three defeated Regional Division 10 by 99 runs after piling up an imposing 218-7, the highest total this season.
The afternoon game saw Divisions One, Seven, Eight and Nine Combined emerging with a 53-run win over Divisions 4A and 4B Combined.

The tournament continues on Friday (March 13) with another double-header at the Police Sports Club Ground, Eve Leary.
In the opening game at 09:30h, Regional Division Two and Regional Division Six will clash, followed by Tactical Services Unit versus Regional Division 4C from 13:30h.
On the opening day, defending champions Headquarters and Presidential Guard emerged victorious to advance to the next round.
The group stage of the tournament is being played on a knockout basis, with the winning teams advancing to the next round.
At the conclusion of this stage, seven teams will qualify for the Super Seven round, where teams will compete for positions in the final stages of the competition.
At the end of the Super Seven round, the top four teams will qualify for the semi-finals, with the winners advancing to the grand final to contest the COP T20 Cup 2026 title.
